  • Vero Beach Art Club, Marketplace section of the Club's Annex location: 1902 14th Avenue, VB 772-231-0303 for hours of operation.  http://www.verobeachartclub.org . This exhibit changes (gets  refreshed) monthly the 2nd Friday of each month. I currently have 13 pieces on view in the Annex.
  • Vero Beach Art Club's monthly Members' Show at the Annex Gallery, 1902 14th Avenue, Vero Beach, "A Little Bit of This, and a Little Bit of That." Watch for the next "Themed" show in October, November and December.
  • September 29-January 5 - Cultural Council presents, "People and Portraits," on view at the Administration Buildings A & B, 1801 27th St, Vero Beach. On view during normal business hours. Eleven of my portraits can be seen there.

  • October 1-30, Pelican Island conservation Society presents, "Indian River Bird & Nature Juried Art Show, at the Environmental Learning Center, 255 Live Oak Drive, Vero Beach, with an Opening Reception October 9, 4:30-6:30.772-494-6306. (late-posted 10/28) Won two 1st Place ribbons and a third place ribbon for my 3 entries!
  • "Arte del' Orchidea," a collaborative show featuring Judy Burgarella, Camy De Mario, Lynn Menna, Cynthia Colella and Ella Chabot, October 9th, 5-7, and 10th 2-8, Italian American Civic Association, 1600 25th Street, Vero Beach.  Works featured art images from the Italy and the Treasure Coast.   • Coming October 9th, "Another Beautiful Day," in the Vero Beach Art Club's Annex monthly-changing themed gallery show. http://www.verobeachartclub.org , 772-231-0303.
  • October 27-November 28, "Folk Art Show" at the Vero Beach Museum of Art, 3001 Riverside Park Drive, Vero Beach, FL. Members of the Cultural Council of Indian River County will be displaying artworks with a "Folk Art" theme. I hope to get 3 pieces in, subject to acceptance. (late-posted 10/28)  Both entries got accepted, and the diverse entries are fabulous. Free admission for this show only.  See next posting for pics and more.
  • January 7,8,9 the Vero Beach Art Club's "Art By The Sea" Fine Art Show, at the Vero Beach Museum of Art.
  • January/February, one of 3 featured artists at the Environmental Learning Center. Details will be posted at a later date.
  • January 2022 - Weekly portrait classes at the Vero Beach Museum of Art.  Mondays, 1-4:00, more info to come.
  • March 5-6, 2022 - "Cowboys and Indians and More, Oh My!  Home Sudio Art Tour.  10:00 am - 3:00 pm.  Refreshments, demonstrations, raffle and more! Portion of proceeds benefits charity.

Oh My ... Did I say "WEEKLY Art Journal??"

 "Best Laid Plans," as they say.  As my art-life gets busier there is less time for posting on this blog--and others, let alone Facebook which I do little of.  However, after joining the "Florida Artists Group" (FLAG), I will probably start posting artsy stuff therein, or create another separate Facebook page just for that.   So to update this sort-of-weekly-but-probably-longer-a-time blog, following are my entries into "Arte Dell' Orchida - From the Treasure Coast to the Amalfi Coast," a fundraiser for the Italian American Club of Vero Beach's Scholarship Fund.  Held October 9th-10th at the Club.
